He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (A Poem)

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (A Poem)

Anonymous (Class of 2022)

This flower all wilted and dead

Should be put to good use instead

He loves me,

The way he used my nickname and

Made me feel good inside

He loves me not

I sat and sighed wondering

Why he left with no goodbye

He loves me

The way he made me feel high and mighty

He loves me not

The way it ended I came crashing down

All small and tiny

He loves me

He gave me all his attention

He loves me not

Turns out it wasn’t just me

Now there’s all this tension

He loves me

He came back and apologized

He loves me not

He will never understand

All the tears that I cried

He lov..

Just like that the flower is now

Just a stem

I guess we can say this is

How it ends
