Kazima Muwwakkil, Managing Editor, Features Editor
Kazima is a senior who loves almost nothing more than to spend a quiet evening reading a book after completing all of her homework and studying for the day. Aside from enjoying great literature, she often goes to Amityville Beach close by her house to either practice her lacrosse skills on the wall-ball court or stand on the pier and look out at the sea. Kazima’s favorite class is art because she finds painting and sketching to be very relaxing. Although she is fascinated by all of the subjects, history is the most compelling to her; she aspires to become a high school social-studies teacher one day. A few other things Kazima enjoys are playing the guitar, eating cultural foods, taking naps with her cat, and (during the summer) going for a swim. This will be Kazima’s third year writing for the Amityville Echo Newspaper.
